Society and it’s norms

There is so much I want to write about but one thing that my heart is screaming and have become numb to is ‘Society and its never-ending norms’ around love and marriage. I want to learn to say the the F word without even saying it.

We are all so conditioned to live in similar manner to what we know. With setting up an age limit to graduate, to marry, then to have kids, then to retire and then to die one day with everything done right till grave.

Let’s get straight to the point with what most of them struggle at this point- How important it is to get marry? And why? There has to be a purpose to do anything in life.  Have you ever thought what that one person can do to you?

We all are hopeless with the idea of love, and it can’t be controlled. I have found my kind of love in the movies; in the books or say in the couples who are actually happy in real. I don’t know if I really want someone in real for me by my side. But one thing I know for sure is I don’t want to believe that love does not exist.  I want to keep fantasying about the true connection which gets you out of your ground and lets you fly.

Connection as deep as Rumi’s poem line “Away, beyond all concepts of wrong-doing and right-doing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there.” Or say what we all understand love these days as “Fifty shades of grey” for some its just about lust but the deep passion that love entangles, holds you in sacred union with the other person and uplifts your spirit in such a way that no words can express. It’s all about each ones perception at looking at things.

We all have the education to educated ourselves, why follow the patriarchy blindly. Live your life at your own speed, marry when you are ready and for the right reason. Don’t hurry up with things that society has it all going since ages. Stand up for yourself. You need yourself more then anybody in the world. It’s important to live your life than just being in the competition to fit in. All that matters is being Happy- with or without anybody around should come complimentary.
